INSPECTION / EVALUATION
Until we conduct a thorough examination, we won’t be able to determine if your roof requires repair or replacement. Our experts are skilled at spotting storm damage and evaluating your roof’s condition. If we find that it needs only a minor repair, we’ll handle it at no charge. For more significant issues, we’ll guide you on how to file a claim with your insurance and support you through the entire process. If a claim is necessary, the process typically unfolds as follows:
SCHEDULE ADJUSTER APPOINTMENT
After filing your claim, your insurance company will contact you to arrange an adjuster meeting.
CALL US AS SOON AS THIS IS SCHEDULED
Moving forward, any questions from your insurance should be directed to us, your contractor, ensuring you’re always supported.
ADJUSTER MEETING
A Davis Roofing Solutions representative will attend the adjuster meeting to advocate for your roof’s coverage. The presence of a contractor significantly increases the likelihood of your roof being covered.
FIRST CHECK & ESTIMATE
Should your insurance declare the roof a total loss, they’ll estimate the repair costs, known as the Replacement Cost Value (RCV). After deducting depreciation based on the roof’s age, the outcome is the Actual Cost Value (ACV). Subtracting your deductible from the ACV gives you the Net Claim, the amount of the initial check issued by your insurance.
PAYMENT PROCESS
Upon receiving your first check, we collect it along with your deductible. You’ll simply endorse the insurance check to us, without needing to cash or deposit it. We’ll deposit both checks and schedule your roof installation.
